In the first part of Tokyo Rising Pharrell returns to Tokyo after the 3/11 tragedy . This five part documentary looks at the different challenges Tokyo is facing since the tragedy and how the creative class has taken upon themselves to keep Tokyo going. Definitely worth a watch very inspiring.

The Weeknd – Thursday mixtape

This dropped a few days ago gotta say I’m feeling The Weeknd his got a certain vibe to him. Ok maybe saying “a certain vibe to him” is an understatement but its kind of difficult to explain this guy. House of balloons the first off the mixtape trilogy got some interesting reviews … “all the thematic and sonic pieces fit together – these weird, morning-after tales of lust, hurt, and over-indulgence … are matched by this incredibly lush, downcast music”  and a psychiatrist described it as brilliantly disturbing and not safe for work.
